Our work is constantly evolving. To offer the highest quality ceramics, we research, and research, and then research some more. And then we test, and test, and test some more. We’re not afraid of making mistakes. And when we get it right, we keep our feet on the ground, aware that we can continue to improve.
The high quality of our products is recognized by our customers and can be translated into three pillars: durability, design, and sustainability. Through natural materials, age-old techniques, and state-of-the-art equipment, we create bespoke tableware for restaurants, chefs, gourmands, and anyone who appreciates the art of gastronomy.
Check out some of our distinctive qualities:
Our ceramics are recognized around the world for their high durability. This is due to the care and attention we pay to the raw material. We thoroughly study the technical data sheets of the professional clays we use, always looking for the highest level of resistance. The design of our pieces turns out to be a consequence of this choice of material.
Our raw material is consistent and high quality. We were able to replicate the same dishes years later thanks to our suppliers who were selected over a decade. Another advantage: these partners are local and close to the studio, thus guaranteeing logistical efficiency lower emissions.
All pieces are suitable for use in an oven, microwave, and dishwasher. Bear in mind, we are not saying that your restaurant has a microwave, although some good ones do, but you will have a dishwasher, which is widely recognized as using less water than manual washing. The planet thanks you.
Our process of innovation has always been inextricably linked to our search for high-strength ceramic pastes and the use of specialized and non-toxic glazes. But we wanted to go further. For us, innovation nowadays is to rethink all our work based on sustainability.
When we innovated and decided to use rainwater to produce enamels, we found that the PH was changed. So, we had to continue to innovate to arrive at the perfect formula. When we innovated by baking the clay at a lower temperature, we managed to emit less carbon dioxide. On the other hand, there was much trial and error until we reached our final product.
At Studioneves, one innovation leads to another.
